Readarr

Readarr manages book and audiobook libraries — tracking authors and titles, and automatically searching for missing or below-cutoff content. Seekarr connects to Readarr via its API to drive those searches on a continuous schedule.

Default port: 8787

Readarr Instances

Go to Settings → Readarr in the Seekarr web UI and fill in the following for each instance:

URL Base URL of your Readarr instance, e.g. http://10.0.0.5:8787. No trailing slash.
API Key In Readarr: Settings → General → Security → API Key
Enabled Toggle to enable or disable this instance without removing it.

Click Test Connection to verify, then Save. You can add up to 9 instances per app.

Search Settings

Missing Search 1 Number of missing books to search per cycle. Set to 0 to disable.
Upgrade Search 0 Number of below-cutoff books to search for upgrades per cycle. Set to 0 to disable.
Sleep Duration 900 Seconds between search cycles.
API Cap — Hourly 20 Maximum search API calls per hour. Setting this too high risks account bans.

Additional Options

Monitored Only Enabled Only search for books marked as monitored in Readarr. To exclude specific authors or books from Seekarr's activity, unmonitor them in Readarr — Seekarr will skip them entirely.
Skip Future Releases Enabled Skip books whose release date is in the future.
